January is here, and we’ve got a hot new lineup of Fantasy Contests to enter — Alternative, R&B and Pop! Let’s take a look at this month’s Alternative Fantasy Contest, featuring a 15-artist list of super talented acts. You’ll jump in with a $10,000 virtual budget that you can use to sign artists to your virtual label. For each of the four weeks in the season (labels must re-enter each week), sign the artists you predict will generate the most total streams (based on each artists’ full catalog).

- The Neighbourhood grew in popularity with their song, “Sweater Weather.” The track had over 7.5 million streams last week, eight years after its release.
- Lana Del Rey just unveiled the album cover to her upcoming album, “Chemtrails Over the Country Club.” She has over 4.4 billion lifetime song streams to date.
- The Killers recently released their album, “Imploding The Mirage,” which has over 57 million song streams to date.
- Dominic Fike rose to fame with his song, “3 Nights,” which had over 1.3 million streams last week.
- Bishop Briggs went viral on TikTok with her song, “River.” The song has over 286 million streams on Spotify alone.
