It’s been an eventful first week for our competitors, with both upsets and landslide victories. We are pleased to announce our four finalist songs, who advance to the next round after beating out their opposing matches. Each week, we will count streams for that week alone, so all of our finalists have fair a chance to catch up if their opponent was previously ahead!

Here are this week’s winners:

Summer Walker – “Girls Need Love” (feat. Drake)

Beating out 2 Chainz and Ariana Grande’s collab, Summer Walker has accumulated almost 9 million streams from her breakout song. Does this track have staying power? We’ll find out as this underdog’s hit goes head-to-head with a mainstay next week.

Vs.

Kodak Black – “Pimpin Ain’t Easy”

Predictably, Kodak’s second single of 2019 performed fairly well. With over 6 million streams, it beat out Carly Rae Jepsen’s pop tune by triple the streams. Can it surpass Summer Walker’s Drake-featured hit? Let’s find out…

Jonas Brothers – “Sucker”

After beating 3LAU’s single in a landslide victory, the triumphant return of the Jonas Brothers raked in over 46 million streams, earning the coveted spot of this week’s most streamed track.

Vs.

Juice WRLD – “Hear Me Calling”

The emo-inspired rapper’s second solo album was a hit, which was a surprise to nobody. This track alone was streamed over 13 million times, which shows Juice WRLD had no problem getting over his sophomore slump. Does it have enough staying power to stand up against the mighty Jonas Brothers? Only time will tell.

As our four winners enter their second week of competition, there’s no knowing who will come out on top.

Stay tuned, because we’ll be announcing our two championship finalists next week!
